The Company

Company TIKTAS was estabilshed in 1968 at Thessaloniki by the current chairman Mr. Georgios Tiktas with main activity the production of expanded polystyrene EPS with products as insulating boards and food packing products. TIKTAS companies (DIMITRIOS TIKTAS, GEORGIOS TIKTAS) with their own production facilities of 6.000 sq.m. activate themselves in the polystyrene sector of the market for over 35 years. With their long experience and their own know-how on insulating materials and on the food packaging products, they have managed to conquer a leading place in these sectors of the market.

Company G. TIKTAS S.A. was established in 1986 with its headquarters located at 6,5 km Thessaloniki - Lagkada str. where also maintains the privately-owned 7.000 sq.m. production facilities.

The activity of the enterprise began initially with the production of food packaging products made from extruded polystyrene XPS for the packing of fresh and frozen foods. On 1999 company TIKTAS S.A. began with its own private KNOW-HOW the production of extruded polystyrene XPS insulating boards.

In the sector of expanded polystyrene EPS we produce insulating boards and packing boxes for frozen foods, while in the sector of extruded polystyrene XPS we also produce insulating boards, open disks and containers (closed) for food packaging.

TIKTAS Companies corresponded and they continue corresponding completely in the requirements of the Greek and the international market as well.

Today, its activity is focused to the production and disposal of extruded polystyrene XPS products which concerns:

insulating boards
disks and trays (closed and open) for foods packaging.

Also it covers the trading of :

Building products and materials
Other types of treatment and standardisation of foods.
